Frequently Asked Questions:

What can I recycle?

You can recycle a variety of materials, including:

Newspapers, magazines, cardboard, office paper, and junk mail.

Bottles, containers, jugs, and some types of packaging.

Bottles and jars (typically clear, green, or brown glass).

Aluminium cans, steel cans, and clean aluminium foil.

However, it’s essential to check your local recycling guidelines as they may vary. Some communities accept additional materials like certain types of plastics, electronics, batteries, and more. Recycling often requires less energy than creating products from raw materials, leading to reduced energy consumption and lower carbon emissions.

Waste Reduction:
It minimises the amount of waste sent to landfills or incinerators, decreasing environmental pollution, and mitigating the impact on ecosystems.
