About the FNA

The Fichardt Park Neighbourhood Association has a vision to cherish the successes of the FNA in the past; focus on the needs of the present; and to provide sustainable and attractive assets for the future with mutual work. People who are not FNA members are not aware of all the FNA activities, such as a 24/7 service in the area, with full patrol services.

The FNA is a professional organisation with strong structures. The goal of the FNA is to make Fichardt Park safe, beautiful, and caring – and this is what the organisation does every day. The sole purpose of the FNA is to administer the area with dedicated and effective management.

  • We have the largest community radio network in South Africa. Our members receive a crime report daily.
  • Less than 2% of all crimes reported monthly at Park Road Police Station are reported in Fichardt Park.

  • Members get a discount on monthly fees from our SLA security companies.
  • If you go on holiday, you have access to an “empty house” register – your house will be visited daily.
  • We have a short-term insurance company that offers our members a discount on their monthly premiums.
  • We have a License Plate Recognition camera system in place.
  • We have an established recycling programme specifically for Fichardt Park since October 2013.
